Kusum and Subash Wedding

My first wedding of 2009 and boy was it memorable. Kusum and Subash invited me to take part in part 2 of their wedding at the Casa Real Winery (they got married in India last November). I had a blast hanging out with their family and wedding party. They really seem to take the "party" idea to heart as you can see from the dancing pictures. And can't leave out the gorgeous colors on the bride and groom. Doesn't Kusum and Subash look great!

Nothing is more fun than a game of dodge ball with the bouquets.

Kusum told me during dinner she couldn't wait to get on the dance floor. As soon as the cake was cut Kusum and Subash got their groove on.

Stephanie and Jensen Wedding

Stephanie and Jensen got married earlier this year at SF City Hall. Over the weekend they celebrated their union with a ceremony at St John's and reception at Empress of China. I had so much fun photographing them that the entire day flew by in a blink of an eye.

Almost everyone I know has a old photograph of their parents or grandparents in a similar photo looking very serious. Here is a shot for Stephanie and Jensen to pass on to the next generation.

Stephanie looks absolutely stunning in her wedding dress.

Heather and Steve got married at the Brazil Room in Berkeley during the first rain storm of the season. Heather and Steve are so much in love and so happy together. You can see it from their pictures.

During the dancing one of the guest got up mooned the crowd. Congratulations Kerry and Jeff. Hope you have a great time in Mexico.

Rhiana and Jonathan's Wedding

"Can I borrow 25 cents ?" Is the beginning of how Rhiana and Jonathan met. This was definitely the most interesting story I have heard. They are such a wonderful couple, so relaxed and up for anything on their wedding day.

Jonathan had to sign a marriage contract before he could pick her up on their wedding day.

Checking out her cool shoes.

Rhiana and Jonathan both had matching shoes !!! How cool is that.

They met at De Anza College in front of an ATM machine. The ATM machine is no longer there but we had to take a photo of where it all began.

Cassandra and Herbert Wedding

The blending of traditions, Cassandra and Herbert had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at their home, and wedding ceremony at St. Marks Church in San Francisco. Here are a few of my favorites shots from the day.

Before Herbert could pick up Cassandra he had to participate in some games to test his love and devotion to her. Here he is dressed as a hula dancer and sticking his foot in a bucket of ice water trying to pick up mahjong tiles.

Anna and Mike's Wedding

This weekend I was in LA to attend my friend Anna and Mike's Wedding. They picked the luckiest day of the year 7-7-7 to get married.

Their wedding theme was Christmas in July. They setup a couple of Christmas trees, wreaths, and added Christmas lights to all the palm trees in the garden. It was an absolutely amazing site. It felt just like Christmas except for the hot LA summer weather.

Announcing the newlyweds for the very first time.

This was their drink menu. Anyone want a Blue Choo or Mike Tai ?

Even the mother of the groom was ready with her camera to capture all the fun moments during the night.

See the Christmas tree in the background. How cool is that.
